I guess it really depends on how much he had recorded up to the point he was killed, surely they wouldn't release that part of it to the public... at least I wouldn't think so, for the sake of his family.

The world has lost a professional and passionate wild life icon, the late Steve Irwin, his untimely death was tragic, and a tremendous blow to many who vividly remembers him as the "Crocodile Man" My sincere condolences go out to his wife Terry and the children and hope that they are given the privacy to mourn/grieve their loss. To release the footage of the said documentary will be sad, because his next of kin will most likely want to maintain his dignity, preserve and cherish these personal memories, and, maybe, respect his wishes, this decision lies with his immediate family.i

I don't think I want to see his pain and suffering. He was a great man who did what he loved and tried to educate the world about animals. Maybe later we can see the edited version with a mention or something. Reality TV has gone far enough, I still have a hard time trying to forget some of the footage I saw on 9-11.It has been years but still bothers me.

Faces of death #? Yeah, someone with enough money will get it out. I think that's what his fans truly wanted to do was witness his death. That is pretty sick. I'm looking forward to the movie on his life with his family not his "Fans"

Gee, I think it'd be too traumatic for his family and friends to see released... I thought he'd be killed by a reptile, but I guess that the fish had it in for him... Sad though... Well at least he died doing something he loved.

I have not the least doubt that they would release the footage. It will be a fittin epitaph for him written by him in his own blood. I do not share the misgiving of one answering about the matter being bungled up.

No, that would be morbid.

And he was filming this for his 8 year old daughter's nature t.v. show, so HOW inappropriate would THAT be!

My heart breaks for his wife Terri and their children. It was obvious that they all adored each other and I am sure they are devastated.

That is a pretty rude and insensitive question...what would you learn from the film? How would Terri and the kids feel about this? Let him be, his death is not meant for your entertainment.
