I am new to this. Are many questions answered with a question? Are most answers not very nice?

Unfortunately, yes there are lots of mean questions and answers, but not everyone is mean. You just have to understand this is an open forum, so anyone can say anything. Don't take it too seriously when you come aross mean people. It's nothing personal.

Yes, some people answer with some rude, snide, or sexual answer just for the 2 points that they will gain. Nice, honest answers are always good to hear!

The nature of the question usually determines the nature of the answer, but as there are nasty people in life, some answers are nasty. Go to the "religion and spirituality" question and ask about evolution and Darwin and I can guarantee you will get some nasty answers - they might not even make any sense. Welcome, anyway, and enjoy yourself here.

sometimes people answer just for the 2 points
sometimes people answer maliciously
when people answer thoughtfully then it's nice
