Go u! honestly i see waaaay to many older women trying to dress like they are teens or twentysomethings. it just looks bad no matter how in shape the woman is. its better u told her, then people laughed about her behind her back.

Once a person gives in to age that's when they become old. Your friend's got the right idea good for her.

I think there is a good way to tell someone this and a bad way. Perhaps you should look at how you said it and think if you might have hurt her feelings. Apologize and then offer to go on a shopping trip.

If she looked good while wearing it then it was wrong but if she really did not look good in them she should be proud to have a friend tell her rather than her walk around looking stupid!!!

I don't blame your friend for being mad. It doesn't matter what she wants to wear. If she's 52, then she's old enough to decide for herself.

I think you did a good thing. You gave her advice based on your honest opinion, to hopefully save her embarrassment. I think older women can look beautiful, but they just look sad dressed in too young clothes. If you are good friends she will get over her anger but she may not take your advice. You've given it and that's all you can do, don't harp on it forever.

A person should wear anything that makes them feel good. Life is short, have fun!

I think she's like 30 years too old for that. She should dress her age

she may have gotten mad due to the way you phrased it, you could make suggestions on what she does look good in are treat her to a fashion shopper for a day

It's not your place to be telling people what they can and cannot wear. Hooray to your friend for wearing clothes she likes, regardless of what you think!
