Depends on age, how long you have beeen together etc etc!
I would love it if my boyfriend.... Suprised me with a weekend away took me to a hotel somewhere (down the road or another country) arranged time off work for me, packed my bags etc etc. No present needed! Or jewlery get something made for her, that she would really like. Anything that shows you have put real thought into the present! Good luck!

how old is she and what are her interests.

if you live near a beauty shop, go in and talk to the beauty therapist, find out about a pampering session, book her in for her birthday then send her out with some money to buy a new outfit, (getting a friend of hers to collaborate with you would be handy, let her have a girly day.) then take her out in her new gear that night to a restaurant. be attentive, notice every little detail, the way she's dressed, her jewellery, her hair, little touching gestures of affection, stroking her hand, her arm, putting her hand to her back when she's walking with you. make the whole day about her, not one word of criticism from your mouth.
in truth you could get away with those little gestures, we just need to feel loved and needed by the man we love, it'll make a hell of a difference to the way she treats you.

Depends on how long youve been going out.
ussally treat her to a nice dinner or getaway and a pretty bracelet is nice. Ring says to much, and necklaces..over used.

Propose to her and marry her. Two years is long enough to "go together." Now is the time to move ahead and ask her to marry you.

Good Luck!!!
