Hey this is too easy an answer..
Let the original amount of money with her be x dollars.
x*(1-4/9)= 25
x*(5/9)=25
x=25*9/5
x=45 dollars
So, The girl originally had 45 dollars.
She had 25 dollars left.
Money spent=45-25=20 dollars
Ans: Hence, The money spent by the girl is (45-25=) 20 dollars.

Okay. A litte reasoning involved here...$25 is 4/9 of a larger figure. This can be set up as a ratio. $25/ x = 4/9, bring x to one side and we have $25 *9/4 = x. Just a little bit of algebra there. Solve for x and we have $56.25.
Reason it out, Its a little more than double than what you started with. if you had 56 bucks, and spent half of it you'd be at about 23 bucks. Around the right area. You double 25, you have 50, around the right area too. Its important to look at it from other angles to to make sure it adds up.
Hope this helps.
