Yes I had an image in my head of how things were going to be and I can honestly say that things have turned out better than I imagined. Things have not come easy, its been hard work but I appreciate my life because of it. In partnerships there has to be give as well as take. If you are between a rock and a hard place try and remember that there is another day tomorrow, move forward and try not to let the past stall you. Hope you get to the soft spot soon. x

When i was young all i wanted to do was live downtown in our city, have no kids and travel 2 years before going to college, get a good job and retire rich!
Then i had my daughter.
Now the goal was to move in a safe area, travel a few times a year, go to college and get a good job. retire witth good money in the bank .
Then i had my son. So once again, plans were modified. I wanted to get a larger apartment, travel every summer and go to college, get a nice job with benefits and retire with modest money.
Ok then came baby. Now all i wanted was a house, a nice minivan, a great job, (school was finished already), and to be married.
Your life doesnt always go the way that you plan, ou just have to roll with it and adjust your life to fit the changes. There is always a way out of things, you just have to prioritize your life and set realistic goals. And dont get down on yourself if it doesnt go that way!

I looked at successful people and how they arrived at their place in life . Don't give in to peer pressure and be assertive to reach your goal . Make friends with people that can help you achieve yours . Eventually give some back to younger pals so others can be successful too. It is a rewarding thing in your old age to sit back and reminisce - perhaps sit on a park bench and laugh like heck about yourself . Learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat them too much. It will slow you up . I smoked too but quit ages ago on my own . Mostly your character will dictate how you get ahead . Be strong .

Mine changed when I lost my Mother when I was 17 to Cancer. Then my dad didn't give or have anything to do w/ me after that. So I had to do what I had to do. And from that I've learned to survive & become a very strong person & appreciate the little things.

When I was about seven I was certain that by fifteen (fifteen particularly - I don't know why I considered that to be a special age, but I did) I would be ruling the country or doing something equally important.
Needless to say, it didn't happen.
