no. exceapt why eactly are you pointing a gun at someone to begin with, but i guess if u had the gun pointed at them u were probably planning to shoot them anywway but i guess give them i little time and dont shoot them when they say fire away

If you take language in its literal sense then shooting them is an option that is open to you. However shooting them would be a reaction motivated by apathy and lack of ethical sensitivity. Language is metaphorical and such an expression should be taken as such. So no you should not shoot them.

More importantly, if you're pointing a gun at someone and ask "Can I ask you a question" and they reply, "Please, for the love of God, shoot me now! I hate my life and I want to die!" should you shoot them?
