i met this girl on the net some 3 weeks ago, and we seem to click on just about everything, she's sent pics, i have too. She's good looking, sweet, BUT she wants to meet me in person, and the ticket to where she lives is way too expensive, how can i tell her to just chill for a few months, after we're sure the meeting's a good idea, without offending her? Seems that my outspokeness is met as arrogance by women, so please, advice.

Just tell her that right now you really can not afford the expense.. needless to say if she wants to see you now - then she can buy the ticket. Besides sometimes are really worth waiting for at times.

the internet i feel and im a guy is a meat market for both parties.i dont trust it and all the charades that go with it.out of around 100 women i have met only a hand full are geniune.some are married and dont want to meet,some are guys screwing with your head.i know you had send photos and she is cute but do you really think thats her in the photos.it might be her best friend or photos of her when she was younger.Or not her at all. I m sick of people preying on peoples emotions.the best place to meet someone is when you least expect it.food store, gas station,bank,work,friends houses,on vacation,but not online.Everyone says everything you want to here.dont meet is my opinion,just setting yourself up for a fall.Or make her buy her own ticket and i garanutee she wont come because it s all fake.

I would be very wary about long distance relationships. Is she living in a country outside of yours? If you are living in the USA she might just be trying to find some way to get citizenship in the USA.
You never know. What if, once she has your baby and the baby is old enough to travel, its goodbye baby!
Be cool with her, but don't invest too much time, effort or money.

Just tell her the real truth.
In my case, if it happens to me, I would understand my man.
It would be a good measure if the girl really likes you.It means..she is not just after for "superficial things"....if its fine with her..then you meet the right one..Good luck to your quest for sincere love!
