Wrong Reasons for Marriage
Are you making excuses for being in a wrong relationship? Remember, marriage is a lifetime commitment that you want to enter with the right guy. Check to see if your reasons for getting married are on this list. If they are, you’ll want to take another look at your relationship.
1. All of my friends are getting married.
2. If I don’t marry this guy, I may not have another opportunity.
3. He’s not that bad.
4. We’re involved physically. Now I have to marry him. I feel like used chewing gum. Who else would want me now?
5. The wedding is planned. We’ve already rented the hall, ordered the gowns and sent out the invitations.
6. If I dump him, where would that leave him? He could do something drastic.
7. I know he has problems, but I love him and want to help. If I marry him, my stability will help him change.

1. Not marrying out of love but for convenience
2.Not taking time to know the person you are to be bonded to "supposedly" forever.
3. Thinking you can chage certain things you currently dislike in your partner to make the marriage work. This is very critical - what you see is what you get. People change cos they feel the need to, but not to satisfy others. Of course some will try to, but they just end up adapting and not really change

There are many wrong reasons for getting married, this include
Sex, Money, escaping your parents, not knowing your lover character,
Location (where you may relocate to, after marriage), etc.
Of these all I mention, the strongest it all is sex. Sex drives some insane, so i don't think anyone should used it as a yardstick to get married

The only right reason for getting married is because you have seeked God first and let Him pick out the perfect mate for you. All other reasons are wrong.

It's true i think, money is the worst motivator for marriage. i think a marriage of convenience sucks as well! LOVE should be the only reason. :)

just for the glamour of having the whole ceremony, that is one of the most pathetic reasons to get married, and sadly many women make this mistake. And of course for the many reason mentioned above.

when you just want to satisfy something beyond that very person you will be marrying. Marriage is a statement that you love the person you wanted to be with forever without any IFs and BUTs.

Because you think you can change him.
Because you want her just as she is.
Because she is hot.
Because he is cute.
Because all the guys want her.
Because all the guys want him.
Because of who their parents are (wealth, power, or prestige).
Because they run so hard, they can pull you along.
The right reasons are the things that fill both of your hearts. The wrong reasons are the things that appear to fill one or both of your hearts, but really just suck those hearts dry.

when you make a vow of marriage then break it over money problems or just refuse to get on.
If that is all that is needed to break a vow you shouldn't of got married in the first place.
