I still can't believe he's gone but I think fate stepped in and his luck ran out, it was only a matter of time

One of my favorite moments was when he was crawling around with a nest of Komodo dragons and he was so wide eyed with wonder and I was just like in awe. To have such a gift to be able to be close like that to animals who would other wise rip your head off

another one of my most vivid memories of steve was when he had to put his dog to sleep. He was so humane and just wanted to make sure she went peacefully and to see him crying and showing how much he did love animals was moving.

this is almost as bad as when Superman aka christopher reeves died.

what are your favorite moments and please dont be ugly with the comments, its disrespectful

I remember that one where he put his dog to sleep. I used to think the guy was a complete idiot until I saw that. I'm a huge animal lover and I used to think he was just annoying animals for the sake of getting on TV but when I saw the dog bit and him crying his eyes out, I started to take him more seriously.

I like the bit where that snake bit him in the face. That was hillarious the way he just shook it off.

OMG is he dead i so did not know. RIP Steve. I likes it when he chased something up a hole and got bit quite bad with lots of blood and just shock it off like it was nothing and carried on. I also like they way his zoo has repopulated so many animals back to the work and how he was trying to help the giant ppanda.

I still cant believe it

you are right about the superman thing tho. It so disrespectfull they way the new film was being mad whilst chris reeves was dying

Disgusting

I loved watching the clips of when Terri was in labor and then afterward when Bindi Sue was born. It was amazing to see such a brave and courageous guy turn into such a mountain of emotion in seconds.
Another favorite was when he had the Bird Eating spider on a piece of bark and it moved suddenly causing Steve to jump pretty good, lol. I wouldn't even get within a mile of such a spider and there he was staring at it!

I don't really have a favorite because I loved them all. He was just so awesome that picking one in particular is really hard for me. He did a lot for animal preservation and was a wonderful human being. I have a sneaking suspicion he's still chasing his crocodile dreams on the other side..........

I loved the early videos he made in the 80's, way before he was famous.

He was a great man, and its a terrible loss to the world
RIP Croc Hunter!.

I don't have any particular favorite moments of Steve. I loved his accent and his apparent love of what he was doing. May he rest in peace.

I wish I had one, but I was always so worried for his safety when he was doing his shows, I had to turn it off. I just couldn't watch. His death is very sad, especially for his family. It was obvious he loved them very much.
