I am shortly relocating to Witney in Oxfordshire as starting a new job. I am 35 with a 34 year old Finnish girlfriend and a first baby arriving in October. Can anyone recommend the best things to do in Witney and surrounds?Anyone interested in befriending a lively and interesting couple in this area?

Well you have the cotswolds for walks and countyside, you have Oxford, Cheltenham and Swindon all close by, around 30-40 miles away. Witney is a lovely town with a few shops, it used to be a small market town. There is a large park called The Lees for the children, theres also a small cinema, small bowling alley in Eynsham. There are a few nices bars The Fleece is the best take your girlfriend there its on Church Green the food and wine is amazing!
