If it is just flirting ( nothing physical ) and your partner is aware of it - I see nothing wrong with it. "It doesn't matter where you get your appetitie as long as you eat at home." ; - )

This is a difficult question... because each couples value system is different, and each partner in that couple is different.
Generally I would say that it is wrong. If you are married then you have CHOSEN to bind your life to someone else. You have taken VOWS before God, or your family, or a government official that you now forsake ALL others, and that is supposed to mean something.
On a very basic level flirting is a violation of both of those principles. Now many will say that there is nothing wrong with "innocent" flirting. While I have no anecdotal information to point to, I think that it is safe to say that almost EVERY affair started out with "innocent" flirting.
Why risk everything on a flirt?

I think it is healthy for a person of the opposite sex to tell you are attractive. As long as it does not go any further, I am a bit jealous so I would have to let that person now that is as far as it goes. My wife won't admit it but she is also jealous. But it is nice for a female to find me attractive and flirt with me. It makes me feel good and gives me confidence that I take home to my wife.

Cheating can take many forms. Cheating can be physical, mental, emotional, and also spiritual. Flirting can be harmless in most intances but some people are just too weak to even handle flirting. If someone is getting their emotional needs met outside of their relationship then it will only lead to trouble.

Personally, I see no harm in flirting as long as the boundaries aren't violated. Having an ego boost from a single or married friend can be fun like I said as long as no one gets hurt.

Let your ego be stroked! Women require outside attention that a spouse cannot give no matter how hard they try!
BUT, be careful...do not fall into believing that there is some future to the other "companionship". If you find yourself wanting to be with someone else, then it's time to back off and focus on your marriage.

It depends on how far the flirting goes.If its just small compliment's it's not that big of a deal. And it's nice to hear occassionally. If your husband would find out would he be irate and hurt?Flirting usually leads to more.Women usually cheat because of that something missing from the marriage.

Flirting is not wrong, we all like compliments, and it can just basically be a means of expression of urges. If it bothers your partner, its his problem, you can only control how you feel, not how others react. Use your best judgement, when there is a line of respect to be drawn...Cheating no...in my opinion. Its a healthy self esteem issue.

Actually, only married people can cheat, because only married people have made the commitment to only be with ONE person. For married people, cheating is when they have ANY relationship, with ANY human or animal, except their spouse; that isn't totally platonic. No physical contact is necessary.

It is alright to be told that you are attractive and things of that nature as long as you to not entertain those comments. Just a polite thank you is good. But I believe that flirting is cheating.

I think that it depends on how the person is getting their ego stroked. If its just flirting etc...well that depends on the INTENT. If the intent is to go further, then NO.
