Please, He put his life in danger for publicity and money???
Give me a break- you knew him so well tht you could judge him like that?? He put his life in danger protecting animals , and protecting people who lived near animals. He did a lot to educate people about animals nd the world around them- no one is perfect and in the world we live in we put our lives in danger every day. I know of people killed getting hit by a car on the job, another electrocuted on the job- did they deserve to die because they were making a living and doing something that was service to others?
What makes you so special that you could make such a judgement??
So okay, you didn not like the show or what he did for a living but don't be so insensitive. I did not know him personally wither and caught the show occasionally, but I would not say something like that about my worst enemy.
He died doing what he loved, we all die and it could have happened at any time in any manner- either have some respect for his family or like the old (and WISE) saying goes, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all!

Steve Irwin did live on the edge, and some may think he was 'asking for it' by messing around with dangerous creatures. But he worked tirelessly to provide nature reserves for all sorts of animals, and much of the profits he made from such recklessness went to causes such as Australia Zoo, where he was quite the celebrity.
His wife, Terri, was indeed involved with all his activities as well, and knew of the dangers.
What happened was a tragic accident, as a sting ray attack is usually very rare.
Next time, please look into a person's life before you bad-mouth them.

He lived the life he chose and was a great entertainer. I personally thought he took unnecessary risks. People who like to live on the edge do that.
Comparing Mr. Erwin to USA troops in Iraq is comparing apples to ipods.
As far as your lack of respect for the man, well that is just silly & petty.

He did not put his life in danger for his own pubicity, he tried and managed to get all kinds of problems involving animals into publicity! He was helping them! Its not a question of being fair to his family, its a question of being very involved with the world and its inhabitants. An how dare you bring the people in iraq into this subject? There is NO comparison to those two situations at all! You have no respect for him? The problem lies with you mister.

No one deserves to die no matter what there occupation. Will you say that a window cleaner deserved to die because he chose a hazardous profession and he fell off his ladder!!! Without people like Steve Irwin we would never have learned as much as we have about animals in their natural habitats. I think the guy was amazing.

That is an evil thing to say about anyone! Shame on you! Have you no respect for the grief of his wife and children? Accidents happen. At least he lived life to the fullest and enjoyed what he did for a living. Not many people can say that about their lives.

I don't think you're in any position to judge him. And he's hardly in a position to defend himself. With that said, his wife knew what he did for a living when she married him. She must have accepted his choices and, I'm sure, was glad he was happy in his work. By all accounts, he was a good father. I think YOU are waaay off base.
