The reason some people act like abortion is a crime is because they truly believe that at the moment of conception a child is created and abortion is murdering that child. In the sixties there was no abortion except to save the life of the mother. That is unless you were very wealthy and could afford to get a doctor to lie for you. Most people today think that while wholesale abortion is wrong there are certain circumstances in which it is okay. Such as to save the life of the mother, a child of rape or incest. Personally I have no problem with these reasons, I also have no problem with emergency contraception. I have a huge problem with any abortion in the third trimester. These need to be illegal. Those babies are babies and able to survive outside the womb. I also feel that abortion should never be your method of birth control.

50's 60's or today Murder is wrong!!! Don't believe it when people say it has no feeling yet that's a bunch of crap!! The nervous system is one of the first things to develop. Just do a little research, see what that wonderful life inside a women looks like at 1 month conception. Women are to quick to just get rid of the fetus. Some sick form of birth control!!!! Are you not glad that your parents thought it was wrong when you where first conceived?if they don't want baby , use protection, be responsible

Abortion is wrong b/c it is murder. if it is an unwanted pregnancy give the baby up for adoption there are so many people out there who want kids, and can't have them. If they weren't grown up enough to take on the responsibility of a kid, tell them to keep there legs shut and keep the penises in the pants!

as far as i know murder is still a crime. abortion is murder therefore it is a crime. legal or not.

maybe they dont fully understand how it can help girls who have unwanted pregnancies... or maybe they're to wrapped up in their religion and faiths...
