An MP3 CD is a CD that you burn with MP3 files on it. You can place them in sepereate directories (folders for you XP kiddies).

Most DVD Players will play them.

It's an easy way to play up to 14 hours* of music without buying a multidisc CD Player.

*more or less depending on bitrate of music

Normal song CDs have songs in WAV format. where size of each song will be around 50 to 90 MB. MP3 is a format to compress the song files by removing some details. So song will not have same clearity but would have size of like 5 mb. So you can create a CD of all such MP3 songs and can store upto 150 songs.
