Steve might you relax in peace and can the hearts of all human beings be with your loved ones and friends. you would be greaty ignored, no longer purely as that guy on the tele poking animals with sticks yet a a real aussie conservationist with a huge heart and can continuously make you giggle. My ideas bypass out to his daughter his son and his stunning spouse. might you relax in peace steve and that i'm hoping you're in a extra helpful place. introduced a tear to my eye steve Will continuously love you.

I feel sad in my Westernized way, but I am happy that he died while he was doing the thing he loved the most (besides his family) hanging out with the animals. Now he's hangin with the big ones in that gigantic animal world in the sky...
I imagine they will air the episode, probably after a "respectable" period of time. CRICKEY!!!!

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

Very sad! Shocked! This was a freak accident. There are cruises that let you swim with stingrays. The zoo lets the kids touch them. So mostly I am mostly confused by him dying this way.

Since he thought tormenting animals on television was fun, I'm glad he got what he deserved.
