He will be missed greatly by many, he was what i call i real nature boy he was born for that. I could remember the first time i saw him on tv i was like thats one crazy white man but tru the years i understood that he wasn't crazy he just wanted to help ppl understand wild life and not to do crazy things like hunting animals elegaly and poaching and those things, i think it's not only a loss to humans but it's also a bigger loss for the animals. With no one like Steve around to teach us the raw beauty of nature how will we come to appreciate it. Also he took us to places in his adventures where some of us migth never be able to see in our life time, he was and always will be a great man. Thank you Steve for all the good times, rest in peace we love you.

I was thinking of paying my respects to the Irwin family by sending flowers and cards, but we have decided in the spirit of "The Crocodile Hunter" that we will adopt an animal at the Australia zoo. We hope it is what he would have wanted and it may help ease some of the pain the family is feeling . If anyone else is interested i believe there is a link at animal planet's web site. R. I. P. Yes, I was shocked when I turned on the TV this morning. Well, can't say I was "shocked", because what he did was a dangerous profession for obvious reasons, but it is still very sad. He had a great heart and personality. He loved his family, that's for sure. And he loved teaching people about animals and wildlife conversation.
RIP, Steve

He was very upbeat and passionate about what he did for a living. Most people go to work dragging their feet. But Steve Irwin did what he enjoyed and he made other people happy watching him.

I will use "crikey" as much as possible today. I admire people like him who are so impassioned about something, in his case, wildlife. His enthusiasm even shone through on the TV. I will miss seeing him and his shows.
