You have to accept this fact that most probably, people try to hide their real identity and show their indentity in totally different package. It can be their avatar or the thinkings which they might be sharing. you cannot trust the online talks and avatars.

That means you need to move and fast, they did not present themeselves at what they were, or you did not see them for what they were. Accept it, it was an internet thing and get out now.
