There was a very good show on this on the discovery channel 2 weekends ago.
it has something do to w/ pheremones and the pituitary gland.
the nose does play a big part and the touching of the 2 people helps alot.. in releasing the phermones that the nose picks up and in turn chemicals are released in the pituitary gland and the brain.
