we will be having a class presentation for our midterm. My prof said that we could present a play, a debate, we could even tell a story or recite a poem. But if I would choose to have a group debate, what do you think will be the best issue to talk about? Or if I'd tell a story what will be the most heart-warming story to tell? any recomendation? I want to perform at my very best!! please help...

right now i'm listening to the last part of the 1937's Radio play "Les Misérables" by Orson Welles ...it just a fascinating 7 parts series of about 24 minutes each..
i don't know if you should consider it...but it'll be a great piece of art if you squeezed it in half hour or may be an hour...
and it's easy to do so by the way.
and if you want to listen to it on-line, here is the the site:

Good luck !

First think of anything that might be real to you from an event that had happened in you are someone you have known's past......

Second if time allows and you would really have to dig deep into it..... HISTORY on world events.... Things that shapped our living and lifestyles today!

Keep in mind that none of this came for free! Men and women fought and died to keep freedom in America so that we have the freedom to learn and do things in our life that many other countries cannot!

Just be open and let your mind dig into something that really sparks your interest!

Hope You Ace it!!!

I think that you can do your best in a debate 'cause if you are well informed (for/against) about the topic you can show your prof you deserve a good grade.
Good topics for that tend to be subjects like: abortion, gay marriage or gays adopting....current events like "war, a matter of religion or politics?".....

I would discuss about something ethical. So talk about cheating a test or skipping Classes. If you want to tell a story, tell something that's close to you.

story=snore fest.
poem=crappy crap.
play=needs too much work.
debate would be the best option, and what better than current events (war on iraq, Israeli/Hezbollah war)
or you can talk about history.
