well talking from experience, you have to enjoy it. relax and try new styles in order to develop your own. focus only on the rythm for now and creating a beat or sound and when it sounds great i promise u'll never stop.

Find a quiet place to practice. No TV, no radio, no IPOD, no boom-boxes, to kids, no traffic. The perfect place is out in the country.
Then, as some others have said, just try to 'feel' the music. Don't try to 'play' your instrument. Let your instrument become an extension of your body.
If you're practicing technique, you'll be playing little, short pieces that emphasize that technique. Those you concentrate on until doing it correctly is an 'automatic' reflex.

Stop letting your mind wander and allow the music you are creating touch your soul. If you feel the music, you will want to play more. Once you can feel it, you can tune out the world.

it comes by and of itself. Just relax, practice something that is simple enough for you, just go on. After a while a sort of special state builds in, which will make you quite unaware of what's happening around you.
All it requires is a bit of practice, totalling maybe a few hours per week.
Good luck
