Because they know how much more comfortable, sexy and convenient they are. And then there is the panty or thong thing. Young girls are very attached to their thongs and panties and have them in many colors and fabrics. Why would you want to cover them up with pantyhose? Most young girls have great thighs and butts, and pantyhose cover all that up while stockings actually accentuate it better.
And what about sex or going to the bathroom? Pantyhose are always in the way, where stockings don't have to be touched to do either, plus men think they are so much sexier,

Young girls are too screwed up to like pantyhose, their fish sewer smelling vaginas stink so bad, it would rot the crotch out pantyhose.

I am young and I don't hate them. I love the way they look. I love the way they feel. I love it when my man touches me through them. I wear nylons too for the same reason. Let's all be truthful: something silky on a girl's legs is exciting. To both men and women. Do I get any points for just being honest about this?

Because they are a pain to get on, wear and deal with. I try to avoid them as much as possible. The only upside to pantyhose is you don't have to wear a girdle to hold up your stockings like they did years ago.

They hate them because:
They itch
They are difficult to get on
They are uncomfortable to wear
They are hard to pull back up after you have gone to the bathroom
And because you have to act very lady like in them, you can't run around because you might rip them or put a run in them.

I never liked them because they itch and I am hairy and they droop in the middle sometimes, illl and when I was younger in Public School they were baggy on my (lol) I was so skinny and petite, I HAVE MORE MEAT ON MY BONES AND STILL HATE STOCKINGS AND SLIPS!!!

I am a "young girl" and i for one hate then because they don't go with much clothing...but my lil sis who is 7 luvs them for some reason!

Because they itch and you have to worry about them getting hole in them. you have to keep pulling them up all the time and they go way past you belly button. That is so not comfort.
