This morning, the old guy next door to me is blind so I go shopping with him on a Monday, read his post for him and bring him up to date with forms that need filling in and do those for him, make sure he is safe and pop in on a daily basis to check on him.

This morning. Pciked up an old lady's shopping list and went shopping for her, got back, made her a cup of tea, chatted to her for half an hour. She's in a wheelchair, her children live not too far yet rarely visit so i make a point of visiting twice a week.

I jliterally ust sent a post-card to an innocent guy on Death Row, apparently it cheers him up no end and it takes me all of 5 minutes to do. I imagine he would rather have a chocolate bar or something, but a photo of Manchester Town Hall is better than nowt.

Dropped some things off for my daughter's dad. Glad to say we have a good relationship. So much so that in the next week I am helping him move in to my house short term as he has sold his house and new one not ready! Now that is doing a good turn!!
