I work in China and my b/f is in US. It costs me over a month's salary to buy the air ticket. I really wanna visit him but I can't afford it... if I ask him to sponsor me he 1, wouldn't be willing to and 2,definitely will not let me go visit him. I'm so torn...

I mentioned several times about the miles but he just does't want to use his miles on me. I can't help admiring my friends whose b/fs either get her ticket by miles or pay for her ticket. I even know this guy who show up unexpectedly at my friend's school just to surprise her! I know it's wrong to compare but I just feel unfair...

Have you considered discussing a joint trip with your bf? Maybe work out a place where both of you wanna go. And that place might be midway so the budget works out for both of you.

if he WONT let u go visit him.. u really need to think about why... whats he got to hide? what's the big deal about using miles? u sure it's all about him letting you save your money and not waste it on him?
how come he can't visit you? are you sure he's as crazy about you as you are about him? are you sure he doesnt have his own fully happy life in the US, which you'll never find out about coz he can hide it well? do you know where he works/studies? do you know who his friends are? do you know anyone who can tell you the "other" side of him? do you know him as a person, not a boyfriend???
wouldn't it be nicer to have someone who you can be with whenever you want, without making yourself bankrupt?
i think you need to seriously find realistic answers to these questions!

my dear,you sound like you work very hard and would give anything to see him but it doesn't sound like he feels the same about you,find some friends to spend time with,and get a bf closer to you.it hurts but be Strong.
