It's probably the other way around. Most girls who were abused don't end up doing porn or prostitution but most girls doing porn or prostitution were probably abused either physically or emotionally.

No, but most women in the sex trade have been abused, often sexually abused usually. You can have a family where two women are abused, one will end up compensating by living her adult life to the fullest, becoming a powerhouse, what ever, and the other one will become a hooker. I don't know why that is, but I can tell you for sure no woman who feels comfortable in who she is, and secure about her sexual identity, is going to seek out prostitution as an occupation.

Some do, but I would say the odds for the lifestyle they end up is abusive after abusive relationships. There are many who say "no more!!" but many just move on from one to another never knowing their real worth. Which is sad.

No, since the majority of women suffer some form of emotional, mental, or physical abuse as children.

My guess is that you have it backwards--most hookers and porn stars have been or are being abused.

No, it isn't true. Some girls might do that, while others take drugs or become suicidal, the rest, and a good chunk of them, get help. They lead normal lives and get married, have children, and careers. There are a few books on this subject that you need to read.

I am a substance abuse counselor and the manager of a women and family shelter. this is not true. In fact, women who are abused tend to have attachment issues (trouble bonding emotionally) and trust issues, but males who have been abused as children tend to have more severe reactions in adult life. males are more likely to become gay as a result of childhood abuse than women are. women tend to shy away from sexual intimacy. it takes a lot to break through their defenses. I have one friend who was abused as a child, and found a wonderfully understanding man, whom she married. their marriage was celebate for the first 5 years, that's how long it took her to learn to trust him.

I would not say most, some for sure may end up like that though.
All I know is that sh*t makes dating someone who has those issues really messed up.
