I went to a house party a few years ago and after using the toilet i was washing my hands and knocked a beaker of the side of the sink that contained tooth brushes straight in the pan. i didn't know what to do so i just put them back in the beaker and went back to the party....
felt guilty when i sobered up but still didn't say anything.

YES! I dropped my tube of toothpaste into the toilet and then had to pluck it out cause it couldn't be flushed. It made me really paranoid to brush my teeth in the bathroom. I have to close the toilet seat so that nothing falls in again.

I was at the Glastonbury Festival last year having a dump in a long drop toilet. I finished my buisiness, looked down to see the result (as you do) and saw a fat wallet and a humungous bag of grass mixed in with all the Richards. I pondered getting a long stick or something to "liberate" it, but the cider bus was calling me for a hot mulled pear cider, I expect the toilet men in the honey wagon got that. Good luck to them.

A few years ago, I got a new cell phone and the first night I had it I dropped it in the toilet at work. I had it on my waistband on my pants, bent over to pick something up, and it slipped right off into the toilet. I was so mad.

I had one of the earliest vibrating phones. I came home drunk and left it on the shelf above the loo. In the morning the alarm went off and it vibrated itself off the shelf and down the toilet. I had to pluck it out as it was too big to flush. Thankfully it was beyond repair so I couldnt use it even if I wanted to

I dropped my glasses in there once. They fell out of my shirt pocket when I bent over to clean the toilet. I put on a pair of rubber gloves and got them out but I've never worn them since.
It's a good job I have a spare pair of specs.

Sorry but nothing that I have dropped down a toilet has been a misfortune.

Actually dropped my cellphone twice in the toilet(clean) becaquse they slipped on the sink and it still works after all these years, didn't hesitate at all, you can always wash it off later. Nokia phones are tough ;), only have to dry it out for 2 hours and works fine

Oh yes! and on my first day at work too! I was housekeeper at a holiday park and my job was to check the cleaner had cleaned the unit up to standard, I walked in the bathroom, and spotted no loo roll so I took one out of my bag leaned over and PLOP my walkie talkie went right down there !! I was just fishing it out when someone spoke and yes you guessed it I dropped it in there again! but this time OMG!! As I reached for it ! I slipped and it somehow went around the S bend, so we had to get site maintenance out to take the loo apart to get it back. Its so lucky it was waterproof. but what a first day at work lol!!

yes just this once! i was revising for geo in school before the test going to start. then i wanted to go to the toilet so i brought the geo book with me too. i was reading as i was doing my business. and when i got up the book just plonk! into the toilet bowl. ahh! i quickly pick it up in case more water got to it. however, most of the book was wet and the pages were so soft that too much strength could tear them. but luckily i had already flushed the toilet.
so after picking up the book i wet the toilet paper with tap paper and clean it. jus in case the toilet water had germs. when i came out my friend noticed my book was wet and asked me did i drop it in the toilet bowl. i didnt reply her! lol too embarrassed.
