Online data entry jobs are usually scams. Don't waste your money.

Work at home jobs are hard to find. Technical, phone work or writing jobs are the most common legit ones. You may want to check out some job leads at http://wahjobs.blogspot.com Plus there is a listing of companies that regularly hire telecommuters

To learn about the tax issues for work-at-home jobs, go to www.irs.gov and search the independent contractor information. You will be taxed at a 15% rate and the IRS may require quarterly reports.

I worked at home for a MLM director. The job itself was easy and didn't interfere much with my life. Unfortunately the demands of my boss were such that I eventually left due to the lack of respect for me and my family.
Think long and hard about whether you want to bring the "work" lifestyle into your famiy circle. Do your research and never pay any money up front to "work" for someone...
Good luck.

If you're thinking about paying for one of those online scams, don't do it. If you have a legitimate job offer (not asking YOU for any money), then it's probably better than working retail.
