Yes it does. Money doesn't buy happiness by any stretch of the imagination, however it solves a lot of problems. Don't like your kid's school? Sell your house and move to a better school district, that is most likely more expensive. Can't buy and sell houses that quickly w/o money and good credit. (BTW, isn't it a tad silly that you have to move your whole family to send your kid to a better public school) or you can send your kid to a private school.
Don't like your car? Trade it in and buy another one. Got bills piling up? If you have money, just pay them off. Feeling a bit stressed at work? Just go on holiday. Kids driving you nuts during summer? Send them to camp for a few weeks.

When we priorities Good Mind (sense) should be the first thing.
Money comes after!
See Bush, Hitler, Pharaoh etc.. they have money. But what benefit to the humankind?
But the prophets like Mohammed and Jesus or historical persons like Mahatma Gandhi or Mother Theresa, they conquered the world not with money but with their good deeds.
