OK
Firstly there were two Roman invasions of Britain
Secondly, there was no British King back then, there were however several heads of tribal groups that ruled over areas of Britain
To answer your question we would need to know which invasion & which tribal grouping the "king" ruled
EDIT
OK Begins with C, 9 letters = Caratacus, king of the Catvellauni

There was no such thing as a British King during the Roman invasion, because there was no such thing as Britain. What is today known as Britain was a conglomeration of small tribes and mini-kingdoms, each with its own ruler, so there were many kings, kinglets and chieftans during that time period.

Britain was a mixture of several different smaller kingdoms. One monarch gave the Romans a bad time and this was Boadicea (several pronunciations). She (yes- she was a Queen) was quite a warrior and ruled a region called Anglia.

Well, there weren't any Kings of Celtic Britain per se, but many tribal chieftans (and there were dozens of different tribes)

There was no "British" king, Britian as we know it did not actually exist yet.
