i saw this bird once that was dead. My baka neighbor saw it too. I was so guilty cause i knew a human with gun probolay shot it. I am like i part of the human kind so i should feel guilty for this. He is like no you shouldn't. I am not real smart but the birds nerves were breaking down and i actually thought it was alive so i felt less guilty. and when ppl die! that is the worst. omg steve irwin why did he have to die! What should i do to make myself feel less guilty about everthing that i see dies?

it means you have a big heart... feeling that way is ok.... to actually say something about it and tell someone else outside of yahoo... i think you would sound crazy. its just life. see it that way.

This is going to be tough for you but everything dies! Frogs, birds, animals, whales, human beings. Its just the end to the cycle of life that begins at birth - for everthing, including the lonely house fly. You shouldn't feel guilty because something dies, but you can certainly can feel sad about it. Guilt would suggest that you did something wrong, sadness indicates that you feel sad about the "passing" of something that was alive. Irwin died because of a stingray quill through the heart, he was doing what he loved to do and was aware of the risk of being in the environment of wild animals. They are not pets. You need not feel guilty but feeling sad is all right.

I believe the only purpose for guilt is to make someone do better or to stop doing something Your guilt serves no purpose except to make you unhappy. You should not feel guilty about life events over which you have no control. Give yourself a break.
