Yes! I love the Fall months and take full advantage of Halloween to start the decorating process. I have 2 small kids of my own and a niece that lives with me part time, and I decorate A LOT because of them. We pull out our Halloween decorations in early September (like now) and do the inside. We have a lot of need candy dishes and stuff like that. Nothing scary, but lots of little witches, scarecrows, and stuff like that. Then in October I decorate the outside with bales of hay, orange and purple lights and yard stakes. Then finally, about 3 days before Halloween we carve our pumpkin jack-o-lantern. Every year we host a huge kid-friendly Halloween party the weekend before Halloween and have tons of kids running around playing games and stuff. It's always fun and we start getting asked about it in April of each year!

If you are having a party inside you do decorate inside and out, but if you are just giving out candy then no, but a really good idea for giving out candy is to get a big block of Styrofoam the size of a table top and stand it up on table legs outside where kids come to get candy. Take a big cheap tablecloth and lay it over it so it looks like a table, make sure the table cloth goes all the way to the ground. Cut a hole in the Styrofoam in the middle big enough for a human head to go through and then make a hole the same size in the table cloth. Then get a big serving dish with a big dome lid. Put the lid over the hole. Put all the candy under the table. Get someone to get down under the table and stick their head through the hole. Make a small sign that says candy by the lid, when they lift the lid there is a human head there! Then whoever is under the table gives them the candy through the hole if they haven't ran away. Pumpkins help attract kids

I decorate anything and everything in my house! I love Halloween I love decorating more for Halloween than Christmas! I actually take every picture frame, knick knacks, and anything else and pack it away then I start decorating. I put spider web on almost everything in my house. I don't decorate real scary but I have skeletons, witches, were wolfs, and lots of spiders! Love it can't wait to decorate sooooon!!! We usually get pumkins and just paint them, I am not too good at the whole carving thing.

For halloween we decorate the inside of our house with fake Jack O' Lanterns and real Jackolanters. We have light stings in the shape of pumpkins ghosts and bats that we hang in all the arches leading to rooms. We have littile spiders that we put around the house, on the walls, on the table... Then out side we take a bag of soil and a gravestone(fake gravestone) and make it look like some one was burried. We also have a lamp post in our front yard which we put corn stalks on tand a hey barrel in front of. We put mums on the hey along with some pumpkins.

At our house, we put out uncarved pumpkins. The weather has been to warm in the past few yrs to carve them....they get moldy and ucky. We put up some silk-ish ghosts outside. Inside, we put out some small halloween figurines and put some holloweeen themed things on the windows.
