Those that put answers in like '.' or 'a' or something to that effect as an answer. Don't you realize that you are just going to get reported and your accounts deleted? I don't personally do it because there are plenty of other people who do. I just don't understand the point.

Point gaming is when people post quick responses like a period or a letter just to gain points and move up in Y!A. They don't take the time to actually answer the question.

I guess some people just have so little in their lives, they feel the need to have some kind of minimal authority over others. It's like on myspace, the people who hoard thousands of friends that they never talk to, because they have low self esteem. I dont understand it either though, people who answer with "2 pOiNtS!1 ;p" but who cares, just report them heavily when they've reached level 5 and they'll freak out and hopefully kill themselves.

I very much agree with you and you SHOULD report people for it - maybe not like a campaign but certainly if you ask a question and get responses like that, then report them. Also, please don't hesitate to report questions that are against the guidelines. It is only by having a core or responsible and watchful users that this site will be kept as anything at all worth having.
I don't go around reporting people willy-nilly, either, but if I see something that I think detracts from the site for other users, either by being offensive or bigoted, then I will generally report it.

why do you care? why do you report?? it has NO effect on your life whatsoever- if you dont like it.. dont read it!!
I understand if its harrassment, or endangering a child or something.. but point gaming?? come on.. do you REALLY have that much time on your hands??
