I'm glad to see Jimmie Johnson out of the lead. Go Matt Kenseth...to all you Roush haters, you're just jealous that Roush Racing has more talented drivers than your team does!

It's reaaly a moot point due to the chase. Here is how the top 10 need to fare to make the chase:
1. Kenesth- locked in
2. Johnson- locked in
3. Harvick- finish 39th or better
4. Gordon- 24th or better (strange; #24 24th?)
5. Kyle Busch- 22nd or better
6. Earnhardt- 16th or better
7. Hamlin- 16th or better
8. Stewart- 7th or better
9. Martin- 4th or better
10. Burton- 3rd or better
This is based on Kasey Kahne winning and leading the most laps for a maximum of 190 points. Also, NASCAR said if two teams finished tied for 10th, both will make the chase.

Yup, I'm happy for Kenseth. Both he and Jimmie have done especially well this year, and the two of them have been battling away for 1st in point standings. They really do have equal talent, and I'd be happy to see either of them win the championship. I mean, after all, they both deserve it. Their whole teams have been putting in that extra amount of work so that they do well. Whoever ends up in 2nd place should not be unhappy, though. 1st and 2nd are pretty nice places to be in...I bet the other drivers would agree!

I'm not really a big Kenseth fan, but yes, I am happy to see him over Johnson!

No. Jimmy has had a phenomenally consistent year. 18 top-10 finishes. I think this is finally the year he wins the championship. Kenseth won't keep the lead very long even though he has been racing pretty good too.

I am, I kept thinking that nobody was gonna be able to beat Jimmie and the Lowes team but Kenseth is coming on strong.
What they need to be worried about is Dale Jr because he's been strong as of late. Plus, he finished 2nd yesterday at one of his worst tracks!!

NO.
I loathe Jack Roush and Ford as much as I loathe Jimmie Johnson and the Hendrick team. It's a double edge sword.
I am happy that Mark Martin will not be in the chase, so Jack will only have one car in the Chase. I also hope Ray Evenham's car does not make because I don't like him as well.

If they had not started this totally absurd "chase" for the top ten drivers , yes. I am already disgusted with the announcers using the term "the chasers". Stuuuupid ! It also cuts out 33 drivers for the last ten races.

Matt is the most consistant racer in Nascar. Check the stats, no one in Nascar has more to 10 finishes. He has changed his racing style (finally). This year he has became tons more aggressive. He rocks. Now if we could just fire McMurray!!!
