We all know that the six episodes are the story of Darth Vader, but remember that there are twenty years between episode 3 and 4. We know there are cartoons, comics etc. i even heard about the dark times being made into 100 feature lenght tv episodes. What do you think. Should there be more films between episodes 3 and 4 or should tghey just leave it ?

Shortly after Return of the Jedi was released, there were two live-action made for tv films (that eventually were released on video) featuring the Ewoks with original characters that were produced and directed by Lucasfilm that I always assumed were the official sequels. Apparantly they're not though.

As far as the gap between Episodes 3 and 4, I don't think there needs to be anything new made. There was enough closure at the end of 3 to help the viewer under 4 better.

I don't think they will be any more movies. They shouldn't have made episodes 1 and 2 because they are so bad and don't come up to the standerds of the original films and ep 3.
Although I would love to see something about Mace Windu He seems like a cool guy.
Maybe they could just focus away from the Skywalker family and even the Jedi and focus on other charactors, ie: Han Solo before he met Luke. Just a thought.

Lucas has plotted out 9 movies total....but the remaining 3 take place AFTER Episode 6. So if any movies were made they would set in the future, and not between episodes 3 and 4....

They should have left it alone 20 years ago for the sake of quality. But yeah there is a tv series set between the two trilogies on the way. It's only entertainment, it only ever was a romp of a movie that a lot of people invested themselves in, so I don't see why they wouldn't keep expanding on the universe if the price is right. Just don't be goin' round sayin George Lucas raped your childhood by making sub-standard movies about space. He didn't and if you think he did, your childhood was a waste of time.

I think that there should be more! I heard that originally George Lucas wanted to do 3 other movies that take place after episode 6 which tell the story after the fall of the empire and he wanted to use the original cast. I think he plans to do it, but like these last three he is not going to tell everyone about it until he decides to actual do it.

I think george lucas will wait untill cgi reaches a level where it is indistinguishable from real actors, then he can make films using the original cast as they used to look, what actor wouldnt want to get paid for a film they didnt act in, in the last 3 films every character that didnt have a human face was cgi including the storm troopers. in the next one there will be no sets and no actors

They should have left it alone in the first place.
I said from day one no one would be satisfied with episodes 1,2 and 3 no matter what Lucas did.

He should have made episodes 7,8 and 9 since people are less familiar with those story lines.

They should just leave it. I think the 3 pre-quels ruined the series a bit even if they did answer some questions. The story has been told now. Any further expansion will ruin the whole thng completely

Lucas is filming a new Star Wars tv series now - although it's based on the lesser (minor) bit part characters and their back stories not the movie cast etc. It 'could' be good.... but then again... well, let's wait and see eh?

Go to www.starwars.com and check it out.
