the best gift is not something you can buy. the best thing any man can do for his partner is to love her unconditionally, honor and respect her (not lie or cheat) and to treat her like his queen. :)
if you already do that then a gift that 'means' something. like if your first date was at the beach get her some sea shells with a personal note saying how you remember. buy something that she has been wanting but make her find it..put a note on her car that says, take 4 steps left, look under flower bush...etc.. make her hunt for it. you can also spell a clue out in some rocks or rose petals. it's fun and it shows your romantic side.

Yourself and honestly. Show her the little things that mean the most/ if you haven't said I love you in awhile/ Do it now-from the heart and mean it. Give her a token gifts every day to her something small and watch her reaction-you will no how the love is there. I had that done to me- how deeply I was in love with him day by day. Because he care enough to show me how special I was to him. lol

if this Q is about a material object then, use your brain. Everyone wants something different, I want a pink carnation (my favorite flower), a certain song ("That Loving Feeling" by The Righteous Brothers) sung to be on bended knee and an Ipod ( i love to listen to music) for my birthday.
What does she want? Think about it. This will show her that you took the time to think about it and that you really do care.

Something that he puts a lot of thought into without asking his wife what she wants,something he does on his own without help. A day at the spa is always good though!!!

In my opinion, I would say that the "truly" best give you can give her, is one that comes from the heart...doesn't have to always be materialistic kinda things...perhaps a nice romantic get away/dinner, for just the two of you and spontaneity...surprise her with something that she'd never expect... :-)

A weekend together away from home. Something unexpected that she would really want to do. A spa, a place to walk and talk, a place that she won't have to do anything but enjoy your time together. Make sure it's something SHE wants to do. Have fun!

well if you should know what your wife likes and things she might want........
buy her some of her favorite flowers, jewelry, take her for dinner or you could just ask her what she wants and go from there, or if ya'll are gonna go out for the evening ask her what she wants to do and let her make all the decisions and it don't matter if you dont' wanna do it , let her decide on the evening for ya'll........Good Luck

I Just got the most wonderful gift from my husband. He works offshore, and I just got a call that he quit his job and he is coming home. :)
