how many Mega mans are there? I only knew about Megaman Zero but now i hear about megaman network or somthing like that

There is Total of 8 or 9 originals (he was called Rockman first, I think he still is overseas...Megaman is the Western name).- Super Nintendo and Super Famicon Versions. Then you got ya 8 X-Series Megaman....and Four Zero Series...As far as TOTAL NUMBER OF GAMES MADE...Dude, Mega man is up there with Mario...You got the PC games, Gameboy Games, Mobile Phone Games, Spin-off's, Portables....My guess, over 100 titles -more or less.
As far as Different Variations or Upgrades...Here's a list

i was like just starting school when Megaman came out. (1980's version not the NEW megaman) So I guess that would be Zero...Im still trying to figure out the whole NetFusion and Netnavvy stuff. I guess megaman needed a bigger franchise.
