well,i did IGCSE Core math cos i didn't have time to do extended.but extended,as i've heard,is only a bit more than core.just the addition of matrices, vectors, sets etc.if you think you're capable of taking math in the 6th form, try to.i take math AS level now(pure & mechanics).some schools let you into 6th form math with a C while others don't.it depends on the school you attend.at least, try to prove that you're good at it if it's absolutely necessary for you to do 6th form math.all the best!

IGCSE's are easier than the old GCEs but with some extra subject content. A lot of people struggle with mathematics at this stage and a C isn't actually too shabby.
If you're planning to get into 6th form on the mathematics stream you should consider doing it again. Then again for any other subject stream a C for math is fine by most people's standards and probably your school's.

Maths is the only subject you can score 100. So, C is ok but It is worth a try again--- IF you think it will look good overall on that result slip.
If you are getting good grades for other subjects, then I would suggest you give it a shot again.

Save the time and money, keep the C, and study hard for your A-Level papers. Colleges will look more closely at those scores than your IGCSE's.

You can get into College and 6th Form with a grade C as it still constitutes as a pass..
You need to get Grade A*-C in order for it to be deemed as a pass grade...
So well done you passed...!!!

well the big question is : Are you looking at a career that involves math associated functions?
If not, then i say that you dont need to worry about it too much
however if yes, then get down to some serious studying!!!
Good luck!

if you are confident that u can get a better grade next time, you should go for it.
c is an OK grade, it isnt great.
however, if you are not confident about your capability next time, forget it. C isn't soo bad after all
