I am a college freshman, and I currently weigh 160. I would like to weigh 200 by the end of the school year. I am pretty cut right now. I wanna be bigger, but I want to stay defined. So I need some advice on what to eat and how to exercise properly. I plan on working out four times a week, and I can use the dining hall only three times a day unfortunately. Considering my situation, what would you suggest I do? I want some detailed answers. Thank you.

Protein builds muscle. There are some protein powders that you can buy at the health clubs. When used properly can add a lot of muscle. Also heavy weights cause muscle to have tiny tears in them. this also causes muscle to grow rapidly. However, too much weight can destroy muscle. I would suggest a trainer. Good luck.

If you keep a good training routine and depending on your metabolism, you can also take some "weight gain" supplements, which combine protein with carbs and other mass building nutrients.

In any case, if you see that the weight you're gaining is mainly fat, you can always increase your cardio exercises.
