As irritated as I get with frivolous reporting that goes on around here, you have to remember your FREEDOM OF SPEECH doesn't carry over to Yahoo Answers. It's a private company that owns and operates the thing. You, as a user, have the responsibility to operate within the guidelines set forth by the company. If you don't, you can have your questions or answers deleted, or you could have your membership revoked.
Now, what were you saying?

Some people do not use their right to free speech in a very intelligent way, and sometimes they abuse the right. If someone's right to free speech means that they're threatening the gov or trolling for kids, then they SHOULD be banned from here, hence the need for reporters.

I kind of agree with you but some people can write some pretty vulgar things. Report the perverts I say!
but once I got reported after asking, "Do you want to go bed with me, no strings attached?" I was just wondering how people would respond, that's all. I got reported and some people were really mad about the question. Really pathetic, eh?

actually they don't droop or ban clients for no reason. before Y!A crew opt for to droop someone, they overview the account's historic previous and make the decision in conserving with what they see then. in the journey that they don't see both a extreme violation or a progression of repeated violations then there is not any suspension.

only people whose brains have explicit contents complain about this. The internet is a form of media. Yahoo is popular and whatever is published here can affect the society... You have the freedom of speech, yes.. But it is nwhere here!!! You find another site or tell your neighbors about your angst and dirty thoughts...

Some people go overboard with their hatred. Some questions need to be reported. It's just not right. There is such a thing as "respect", also.

The only time I report anyone is if he drops a predatory question into the 'adolescent' category.
Otherwise, long live free speech.
