This is not really a question its a statement. Yes, I am very sad that he is gone. We have lost a wonderful human being! A great educator, animal conservationist and friend....having watched him on tv it was almost like we knew him. His family, the zoo, Australia, animals all over the world and children around the world have lost a magnificent person full of passion and a sense of humor! So sorry to see him pass at such a young age. Best wishes and prayers to Terry, Bindi, Robert, family and friends.....who will miss him most!

I liked Steve. I think he was a good man. I told my wife about a year ago that this would happen. You can't just keep on doing these things,without paying. I thought a croc. would do it.

Little kids everywhere will be getting their first lesson in why bad things happen to good people. It's heartbreaking. I also feel for his family, co-workers and fans.

its very sad. i feel for his wife and kids. he died doing what he loved best though.
