Bin Laden is dead, but it is not the US keeping him alive, it is the terrorists. Ever notice how there is no more live footage when he sends his messages. They are recordings and we cannot even verify his voice pattern by electronic means. He is THEIR SYMBOL and their cause would falter without him. The US has never found his body so they can't verify his death. Why don't you people that hate the US so much, pack up and move to the middle east and see how long you last there. Granted, there are some of the people in the middle east who like us, But I was there for almost three years and the majority of those people hate us and want to kill us. Can't you understand that. They are capturing OUR people and cutting of their heads on TV, but OUR troops that are over there, fighting for OUR way of life are being put on trial and given the death penalty for war crimes?!? What a load of crap! Terror is not an Idea, it is something very much alive. Our best option is to cut off ALL FOREIGN AID to aggresive countries and only give aid to peaceful countries that follow our way of life. Anyone who is fighting would be cut off---then see how quickly they make peace. Reward for good behavior-Punish for bad behavior just like you train children and pets.

On contrary, Laden is very much alive, surprise is that he is in good terms with the Bush family. Who would do then the act of appearing on tv across the USA just two days before the presidential elections & made it possible to see Bush win. Senator Kerry had no clue!

If OBL were dead then Muslims would be hailing him as a martyr (even if his death were of natural causes) and the US, UK and Israel would be cheering because Al Qaida exists in lage part because of his charisma. That is not to say that there are not other equally as dangerous terrorist groups, Hezbollah, for one springs to mind, but OBL is a charismatic leader much more so than Nasrallah. If OBL were dead we would all know about it.
Keeping him alive (like Sharon) has no value for Al Qaida. Keeping him hidden for a period of time would even make him seem like he is fulfilling the prophecies of Al Mahdi (the Sunni concept is different from the Shiite concept).

bush and blair are both guilty of using terrorism as propaganda so people will except the horrors they are inflicting on iraqis and afganis. bin laden is just part of this propaganda although i do think if they had killed him they would let everyone know if only to satisfy the american ego.
America wants to rule the world hence the fact it rapes other countries of its natural resources and keeps poor countries in debt.

No.Bin laden is not yet dead or atleast his body not found yet..see what? Bush , Would be the happiest man on earth if this man was unearthed from the caves somewhwere in Afghanistan.

doesnt matter either way. real or not, the terror threat is being used to keep people docile while our governments ride roughshod over our opinions and civil liberties.
when i was a kid it was the IRA i had to be scared of, now it's Al-Qaeda. whereas in reality i'm far more scared about where the world is being taken by the superpower(s) and their war-mongering, greedy, bully-boy antics.
i fear for the future.

If Bin Laden were dead the US and the world would be cheering!! And who ever killed him would have a heroes welcome! Your suggestion that they are "keeping him alive" is just preposterous!
