I would love to respond to your question, but to be frankly honest with you, I am unable to gather the details of your situation. You have not made yourself clear and concise. I can only gather that you are saying the nurse who is fresh our of school does a lot of complaining. I am assuming you 'mean', the nurse talks negatively to the supervisor? I'm not following you on "playing with her mind". Who is playing with whose mind? I can respond to the part of being fearful of this nurse. You have no right to fear anyone. People have to learn how to go and talk to other people and reasonably discuss issues. Are "YOU" afraid of this nurse? Even more that you should have a conversation with her. Have you shown yourself to be friendly and kind? Do you smile and compliment her? Have you shared lunch together, or a soda? There are ways you can break the ice with people who "appear" to be wolves, but really are sheel inside. Make an effort to speak to this lady and endear yourself to her gradually. I think you'll find that she might have some issues herself and only talking it out will allow you both to enjoy a better working environment. Then you can spread a good "rumor" to the other workers- maybe she 'ain't' so bad afterall. You make the effort to be friendly and see what happens.....

Can you provide more info so that we can give you better advice? Such as, is this new nurse your supervisor? Whose mind is the new nurse playing with?

Sometimes people fresh out of school aren't used to how things go in a working environment. Give it a little time, and she will either learn from her mistakes, or she will not get better. If things don't get better and the staff is afraid of her, then her superiors will probably give her a warning and deal with her behavior themselves. If she is doing something really inappropriate or offensive, report it to her superiors, if you feel comfortable doing so.

Go to your supervisor. Tell your supervisor what is going on and ask for a group meeting. If everyone has problems with this nurse then it is time to take this problem to the next level. This is harassment...tell your supervisor that if the problem is not resolved you will be getting a Civil Liberties Attorney.
