I bought something recently and paid with PayPal. I realized too late that the address the merchant got is my old address. Mail is still being forwarded...it's only been three months since my move...but will this apply to packages, too?

The only mail not forwarded is "bulk rate" 3rd class with no endorsements (forward, address service, etc) & "periodicals" 2nd class maagazines after 2 months.

Otherwise you change of address in the USA is good for 12 months & then the next 6 months is sent back to sender with your new address.

Although alot of changes are happening right now in the USPS forwarding department so this could all change.

Depending on where you live the post office might hold it and leave you a note to pick it up. Letters and bills are forwarded here but not magazines and packages.

It should. If not, the package should be returned to the merchant. Alert the merchant ASAP of the issue.

Yes, it just may take a while longer. If you don't get it soon, you should let them know and they can put a tracer on it.
