I think she would struggle in this day and age as there would be uproar (as in the case of Diana - which has been neither proved or disproved) However I doubt very much she would kill someone as there are other ways of removing someone without her having to do it. However.... it would be very difficult to try her as she cant just be 'removed' she is not elected she is queen by heredity and although she has the power in theory to dismiss Parliament and make the prime minister stand down (wish she would) the same is not the case for the head of state as she cant be dismissed by Parliament. Also if she was prosecuted it would be the crown versus the crown. In theory yes she can in reality the crown still holds an awful lot of power and therefore it wouldn't happen.

No problem at all! Let's face it, if she did that, they would just find someone else to blame.
Think back to that member of the royal family who in the second world war crashed a plane. There was a huge cover-up and they just blamed someone else who was apparently completely innocent.
They would probably sue the person they blamed as well knowing the way they are with money.

In theory, yes. She is head of the state and head of the police force and army, so it would be interesting if she did - just to see what would happen. ("Yeah? I'm the Queen. Whatcha going to do about it? You and whose army" - as the Grenadier Guards rally round her...)
She actually has all sorts of interesting powers - I'm amazed she hasn't demanded the assassination of all sorts of people, simply because she could.
Also, I was informed that High Treason is still punishable by death. I'm not sure that is still true, though, I think that may have been one of those recently repealed laws.

No. Charles the 2ND was beheaded for treason. Yes for crimes against the crown. Then the UK briefly became a republic before we reinstated the monarchy. So I imagine our Queen could also be prosecuted!
However these days she is just a figurehead with very little real power. Thanks to Charles 2ND the laws changed after him.

Didn't Henry VIII get away with it? And many leaders of countries all over the world have done the same, for many centuries, and are still doing so.

She could not get away with it. Even if one accepts that her current status would exempt her from charges - which is doubtful - parliament could remove her and she would face charges like any other commoner.
Incidentally, marzipan, treason has not been a capital crime since 1998 or 1999.

If you are refering to the Queen of England, no she could not murder someone and get away with it. Her position is no longer a ruling position with that kind of authority.

The Queen is constitutionally above the law. She is like the Pope - she can do not wrong, she is infallible as close to a God on earth as you can get.
