I have a ton of them on my legs from mowing the lawn yesterday! How long will it take before they go away and stop itching?

It will take a week for them to stop itching what helps is to put some calimine lotion or some gold bond anti itch creame.

Hope you get better soon

This may not help much now, but as soon as you get bit by an ant or stung by a bee, slice an onion (fresh) and place the slice on the bite or sting. You will see that you get almost an instant relief from the bite or sting. I purchased a home remedy book some years ago and found this in it. It was sometime before I had a chance to try this out, but when I did, "WOW" what a relief. It took a few minutes for it to work, but it didn't hurt, itch, swell, or leave any sign the next day that I had even been bitten. You might still try it. It seems to pull the poison right out of the skin before it does any damage! Several of my family members have tried this since, and have had incredible success with it. Good Luck!

The stuff they sell for bee stings, also ammonia helps to stop it, fire ants have the same stuff as a snake, in florida several older people have died by stepping in a fire ant mound while waiting to hit their ball and have been stung 1000's of times, I was told it is like the venom of a cobrfa but in a small dose, but when hit at once by thousands, it could trigger your heart to go into shock and bye bye!

Will go away in a day or so.

You can try a mixture of baking soda and water -- make it thick and pat it on. Leave it there for a while.

OR, get one of those bite-relief medications from the store.
