Letès just address the addicitive behaviour here, and leave the pornography issues aside.
I wd suggest weaning yourself off little by little. Try going a day without looking at it. Take a mental, or actual diary of your thoughts throughout the day, your interactions, your feelings. At what point do you want to look at porn. What I am getting at is you must find the trigger, and also discover what leads up to the trigger.
Basically, addictive behaviours are like this. Once you get to the cause, deal with it, and you will change your habits.
Good luck.

Hi Hun, I'll do my best. There is a foundation to everything right?
So what is the foundation to you watching the porn? Why are you addicted to it? And how do we help the last question?
It's all in the mind hun. Thats where it starts ( and i'm talking about he head up there not down there lol ). I think that its gonna take time OK and you have to realize and accept that its going to take time. So since you have reconized that & want to do something about it that is the first step. Next is when you start to think about the porn, that's when youstart to practice controlling your thoughts and that's all it is OK. Just practice controlling your thoughts. Like when you start to think about it, reconize that and then try to think about something else. If you gotta read a book then do that and as a matter of fact, that is a great idea i think but may be boring depending on your personality.
Basically i assume that watching it makes you very happy but so does other things right! Just because you like something doesn't mean you get involved in it Right? because it may not be healthy to you or your life. It seems that is how you feel about the porn now and that is ok. So think about the porn like its just one of those things you can't have cause its not healthy for you. I'm sure you will use your imagination as what you could compare it to.Hope that i helped you some.

There should be a support group you can contact, possibly at a local church. Believe me, you're not alone in your battle, and it's great that you've realised how destructive this can be. It is scary to admit your problem in front of people; however, possibly you could call around first and that would make you more comfortable. I will not presume to know your faith, but I have had one solid cure for all ailments in my life( from drugs to smoking to acting evil towards everyone) and that is calling on my Lord, Jesus Christ.

If you're not the religious type, pick up a habit. I was once addicted to pornography. I took up idolising Hilary Duff to replace it. How pathetic am I? At least I got rid of pornography.
