Chaplin by a long shot; Who else writes, directs, acts, does the music scores, choreographs and produces their own movies.
ONLY Chaplin did that. The Babe Ruth of all cinema.
What is very interesting though is that in the original Wizard of Oz (no not the Judy Garland one but the silent film from 1925), A young and much thinner Oliver Hardy played the tin man.

I am a fan of Chaplin ,tom & jerry is my favourite cartoon ,enjoy Mr Bean's humour sense and love genuine comedy .
Kenin&kel ,Drake & josh etc are also good .
I am interested in good comedy series which makes you to really laugh and is not so vulgar .I like to laugh and enjoy jokes .

I think Chaplin. He was a genius. He had to work with many technical restrictions. He made comedy an art, by comedy he was able to touch the heart of audience. He was not a mere joker. But he reflected the society, problems of the poor with laughter. He indeed was the best.
