no longer pleased with Nicola's answer in any respect. that's rather untrue. the slimline will artwork for a protracted time as long as you're looking after it (in basic terms like all different console). my slender is a launch DATE console (which ability i've got had mine because of the fact that 2004) and right here we are, nearing 5 years later and it nevertheless works like a allure. i take advantage of my PS2 on a daily basis, sometimes as much as eight hours promptly. the slender is a huge progression on the PS2. I even have heard that the silver and white are not as solid for some unusual reason, yet my black slender is acceptable. in November, it will be 5 years previous and nevertheless working. oh, and to respond to your question, as quickly as back, of course the slender will play PS2 video games...that's a PS2 inspite of each little thing.

You would need component or RGB video input on your laptop and the appropriate cable from the PS2. The laptop would require software to watch the incoming video signal.

No. PS2 games are incompatible with a PC and vice versa. You can download emulation programs that will let you play PS2 games on your PC.
