Good luck indeed!
I work for one of the largest broadcasters in the UK (admin. staff) and you're in one of the most competitive sectors of employment in the whole ecomnomy.
Every year thousands of media students graduate and expect to somehow get a 'glitzy' job in TV.
All I can advise is that you should try to make as many contacts as you can, since the old adage of 'it's not what you know but who you know' has been proven to me more times than I care to remember.
Prepare for a few years of low or unpaid work (usually at least 10hrs /day) and practise your @rse kissing skills - they're more valuable than anything else you've learned so far.
Best of luck.

If you like long hours with low or no pay, congratulations. This is the career for you.
