Good one.
Cuz "we" always want to be right. We need that conflict. It is a game of self-preservation. Always have someone else wrong so we never have to look at ourselves............looking at ourselves may just prove that we are wrong. People will defend their beliefs(even in the face of facts showing them their beliefs are obsolete) till the end. We need to feel important and self-righteous and superior---even at subtle levels and with decent people this is true. It's the game of ego. We say we are doing this or that for someones own good but it's for our own ego's we try to push our beliefs onto others....making them wrong and us right.
It's a sticky situation. and no, this isn't THE NOVEL. Not just yet, lady lola....not yet........

Self-preservation makes us the star in our own show, and leads us to believe that we are always "right" in our own mind. The opposition is always wrong when it conflicts with our veiw....
